Greene County Register and Recorder Office getting an upgrade

Greene County Register and Recorder Office to Implement IQS System for Improved Record Management

Waynesburg, PA– The Greene County Register and Recorder's Office is pleased to announce a significant upgrade to its record management system with the implementation of IQS (Info Quick Solutions). The new system, set to go live on October 1, 2024, will modernize the office's operations, allowing for greater efficiency, accuracy, and communication between the Register of Wills and Recorder of Deeds systems.

IQS is a leading provider of digital record management systems, offering innovative technology that improves the accessibility and security of public records. This upgrade will allow the Register of Wills and Recorder of Deeds sides to communicate seamlessly within a single platform, streamlining processes and ensuring smoother coordination. Residents will benefit from faster and more reliable access to essential documents such as property deeds, wills, and other legal records.

Greene County Register and Recorder Tammy Brookover highlighted the importance of this transition: "The move to IQS will significantly enhance the services we provide to Greene County residents. By integrating both the Register of Wills and Recorder of Deeds systems, we will ensure quicker access to records, improve the overall user experience, and ensure that both departments operate efficiently."

Notably, the full cost of implementing the IQS system was covered by the Greene County Register and Recorder’s Office, ensuring that this upgrade comes at no cost to taxpayers.

The IQS system is used by counties across the nation to manage and maintain public records digitally, offering secure access to documents through online portals and in-office interfaces. By adopting IQS, Greene County is taking a significant step toward modernizing its public services and ensuring greater transparency and accessibility for its residents.

The new system will go live on October 1, 2024. Residents can expect minimal disruptions during the transition and will soon enjoy a more efficient system for accessing public records.
