Services, programs and parades were held on Sunday, May 26 and Monday, May 27 in Rices Landing, Jefferson, Mount Morris, Garards Fort, Carmichaels, Greensboro, Nemacolin, Crucible, Waynesburg, Mather and other areas.
The Greene County Commissioners thank the veterans’ organizations, the Greene County Veterans Affairs Office and the many agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals who volunteered to help coordinate and/or promote these Memorial Day services.

And finally, the Commissioners proudly honor and salute the many fallen soldiers whose sacrifices enable all Americans to enjoy our freedom each and every day, and whose sacrifices should never be forgotten.
