Jared is a resident of Greene County who graduated from Waynesburg Central High School and Waynesburg University.  He lives with his wife and three daughters on a small farm in Waynesburg. 

By profession, Jared is a law enforcement professional with 15 years of experience at both the federal and local levels.  His career started with the U.S. Secret Service in 2008 protecting the President and Vice-President of the United States, their families, and foreign world leaders.  In an effort to spend more time with his family, Jared then transitioned back home to Greene County and started the first School Police Department at West Greene School District. Since then, his passion for positive growth in the community and his love for Greene County led him to run for Greene County Commissioner.  Jared ran a successful campaign and was subsequently appointed Chairman of the Greene County Board of Commissioners.  He aims to pursue and foster initiatives that produce economic growth and stability in Greene County
