Retirement Board Meeting Notes Greene County Board of Commissioners
The Retirement Board Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month immediately following the Commissioners Board Meeting (except for May, August, November, and December); and will be held in the first floor conference room of the County Office Building. Meeting dates and any changes will be posted publically in the local newspaper and on the county website at www.co.greene.pa.us.
The purpose of these retirement board meetings is to review applications of employees requesting retirement, discuss any other retirement issues, and to vote on matters concerning the County's Retirement Plan for employees.

Meeting Brought to Order:
The Greene County Retirement Board meeting was brought to order by Chairman Blair Zimmerman in the first floor meeting room of the County office building. Others in attendance were: Commissioner Coder, Commissioner Trader, Chief Clerk Jeff Marshall, Cheryl Cowen, Dave Balint, Cory Grandel, Becky Harris, Marge Fox, Sheila Rode, Charlotte Popielarcheck and Members of the Press.
Minutes Commissioner Trader made the motion and Commissioner Coder the second to approve the minutes from February 16, 2017. Vote unanimous.
Commissioner Trader made the motion and Commissioner Coder the second to go into executive session at 10:20 am. Commissioner Trader made the motion and Commissioner Coder the second to come back to meeting from executive session at 10:30. Executive session was to discuss a personnel issue and get advice from the County Solicitor.
Commissioner Trader made the motion and Controller Balint the second to approve an agreement between the County of Greene and Korn Ferry/Hay Group for a windows compatible pension estimator in the amount of $7,500. Vote unanimous.
The 2016 employee pension statements will be distributed Friday, March 17, 2017.
Commissioner Trader made the motion and Commissioner Coder the second to adjourn the meeting. Vote unanimous.
