March 1 ESSENTIALLY YOURS: THANKFUL THURSDAYS
(6-8:00 pm) We are so thankful for our essential oil friends. Those who love using and learning more about the benefits of these gifts of the Earth. As our way of expressing gratitude, we are offering monthly classes. During these classes you will have the opportunity to learn more about the use and benefits of essential oils as well as making your own essential oil based items. Hosted by Kelly Mackey. Giveaway punch-cards will be available. More information provided at class. March 1 Paint and Sniff Come enjoy an exciting way to de-stress and create your own work of art. Essential oils are used during the painting for additional aromatherapy. (Participants need to bring newspapers and their own paint brushes.) Make and Take: Your Very Own Work of Art.

Quarterly collection site at the Greene County Fairgrounds, Rabbit Barn from noon to 3:00 pm on the following Wednesdays: March 28 ✦ May 30 ✦ August 15 ✦ October 24, 2018. (NOTE: dates are subject to change).

April 8 EMPTY BOWLS for HUNGER
Waynesburg University presents the annual Empty Bowls in Greene County", raising awareness for hunger one bowl at a time. Come on out and enjoy a variety of hearty soups and delicious bread donated by various bakeries. NEW YORK CITY TRIP
Nathanael Greene Community Development (CDC) will be sponsoring a 3-day trip to New York City on May 3rd, 2018. We will be staying at the Manhattan at Times Square Hotel on 7th Avenue. Cost for a double will be $695.00. For a triple it will be $575.00 and for a quad it will be $500.00.

Saturday, May 12 DOCK-to-LOCK 5K RUN/WALK
Our annual Dock-to-Lock 5K race begins at 9:00 am (Registration from 7:15-8:15 am) at the Rices Landing Fire Hall located at 66 Bayard Avenue, Rices Landing, PA 15357. Bus leaves promptly at 8:30 am for the start line on the Greene Cove Trail. Event is sponsored by the Greene County Commissioners and the Department of Recreation.
